Mrs. Barbara Jean Flowers passed away Friday.

She was born Feb. 17, 1935, in Glenn, Georgia to the late Mr. Andrew Dix and Olivia Thomas Nelson.

Survivors include her nieces:  Patricia Leath, Felicia Nelson, and Loretta Allen; nephews:  Pierce Allen and Paul Allen; three generations of nieces and nephews; sisters-in-law:  Ida Maude Nelson and Catherine Nelson; and a host of cousins whom she really loved. 

The service will be Thursday at 1 p.m. at Southview Cemetery.

The excellent care of Mrs. Flowers is being provided by Lakes-Dunson-Robertson Funeral Home.
