Cougars fall in back and forth game against Kings Way

Lafayette Christian was driving in the fourth quarter of Friday night’s game against King Christian. In a back and forth game, it appeared the Cougars might be able to pull out a tough victory.

Instead, Kings Way picked off a pass and returned it for a game sealing touchdown to hand Lafayette Christian a 30-18 defeat.

Kings Way led 16-12 at the half, with the Cougars getting first half touchdowns from Ephraim Snyder and Andrew Hough. Hough threw a 35-yard touchdown to Alex Tusing in the third quarter to put the Cougars up 18-16. Kings Way immediately answered with a

touchdown, and then the interception put the game away.
