Mrs. Jenny Carlisle Marterella, 56, of Hogansville, went to her Heavenly home on Sept. 4, 2021.

Mrs. Marterella was born on Jan. 7, 1965, in LaGrange to the late Willis Warren Carlisle, Jr. and Joan Reason Carlisle.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Terry Carlisle. 

She was a member of Mountville Baptist Church and worked for many years as a city mail carrier for the United States Postal Service.

Survivors include her husband of twenty five years, Bobby Marterella; daughters, Holley Turner (Adam) and Katie Hembree (James); brothers, Willis Warren Carlisle, III and Matthew Carlisle (Tracy Kinder); sisters, Robin Gaddy (Darrell) and Carrie Gatens (Anthony); grandchildren, Zane Turner, Pierce Turner and Hadlee Hembree; nieces and nephews, Andrew Gaddy (BreAnne), Jessica Webb (Justin), Kelly Carlisle, Kaden Carlisle, Ryan Gaten (Kamren), Blayton Scott, Nainoa Arincorayan, Kaloa Arincorayan and Allen Marterella (Bailey); sister in law, Vicky Arincorayan (Derrick), sister in law, Kristen Pulido (Eric), brother in law, Brian Marterella (Monica); mother in law, Jo Elaine Marterella; father in law, Robert Allen Marterella, Sr. (Susan); aunt and uncle, Wanda and Gurald Kemp; extended family and friends.

The family will have a time of visitation on Thursday, Sept. 9, 2021, from 12 to 2 p.m. at Mountville Baptist Church. A graveside will follow the visitation at 3 p.m. at the Restlawn Memory Gardens.
