Mr. Billy Norman Williams passed away Friday at Piedmont Medical Center in Columbus, Georgia.

He was born on Dec. 3, 1964, to Billy James and Virginia Williams in Hamilton.

At an early age, Norman joined Smith Chapel United Methodist Church under the leadership of Pastor Standford.

Norman graduated from Troup County High School in May of 1984.

He was previously employed with his father and grandfather at Williams Vault Company before starting his career at Milliken and Company’s Hillside Plant and most recently being a shift Supervisor at Kimberly-Clark.

Survivors include his father (Billy) and mother (Virginia); one daughter (Brenia); two brothers: Richard Williams (Jennifer) of Pine Mountain, Keith Williams (Shawndrika) of Pine Mountain; four sisters: Carolyn Parks (Zeke) of LaGrange, Nina Seldon (Eric) of Upatoi, Georgia, Tiffany Barnes (Frazier) of Huntsville, Alabama, and Sha’Quana Brown of LaGrange; special friend, Renee Brewer of LaGrange; one uncle: Horace Williams (Ann) of Atlanta; one aunt: Mary Taylor (Hayward) of LaGrange; two great aunts: Beatrice Pickett and Georgia Mae Daniels of Atlanta and a host of nieces, nephews and cousins.

The family will receive friends in the chapel of Lakes-Dunson-Robertson Funeral Home on Wednesday from 5-7 p.m. The service will be Thursday at 1 p.m. at Smith Chapel UM Church.
