The LaGrange High football team has a chance to keep an incredible start to the season going Friday night when the Grangers host Kendrick at Callaway Stadium.

LaGrange (3-0) has outscored its opponents 122-33 this year, including last week’s dominant 41-13 win over Columbus.

Bigger tests await down the road against Carver, Troup and Spencer, but at this point the Grangers have been dominant against overmatched opponents. LaGrange’s victory over Upson-Lee (2-1) is their only win over a team with a winning record at the moment. Kendrick (0-3) comes into Friday night’s game really struggling, as the Cherokees have been outscored 117-6 with losses to Terrell County, Dougherty and Carver. Friday’s game starts at 7:30 p.m. ET on Friday night at Callaway Stadium.

LaGrange is also honoring the 1921, 1991, and 2001 state championship teams at Friday night’s game.

Troup at Spencer

Fresh off one of the largest comebacks in school history, Troup (2-1) travels to take on Spencer (2-2) in a key AAA, region 2 game.

The Tigers’ comeback over Spencer means they are 1-0 in region play, and their only loss on the season is to county rival Callaway.

The Greenwave have wins over Business Engineering Science Tech and Jordan. The 7-0 win over the Red Jackets gives Spencer a 1-1 region record going into Friday night’s game. Spencer’s losses are to Northside and Carver.

Lafayette Christian at Mercy

LaFayette Christian comes in following a bye week and will travel to Our Lady of Mercy Friday night. Mercy (0-3) has been outscored 112-7 this season.
