Rick A. Sponholz, 68, of Pine Mountain, Georogia, went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, Sept. 29, 2021.

Rick was born March 15, 1953, in Milwaukee, Wisconsin to the late Richard Sponholz and Lois Wimmer Vaclav.

He is survived by his wife, Alice Sponholz; children, Richard Sponholz, Michael Sponholz and Kimberly (Dean) Cavenaugh; grandson, Wesley Sponholz; sister Cheri Kitoman; nieces, Beth and Sarah Dorshak; nephew, Chad Sponholz.

Funeral Services will be held 2 p.m. Monday, Oct. 4, 2021, in the Chapel of Striffler-Hamby Mortuary. The gathering of family and friends will be held Monday prior to the service from 1-2 p.m.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in his honor to Callaway Gardens. You can do so by mailing a check with Rick’s name on the memo to: 100 Meadowview Lane, Pine Mt.
