Sharon W. Richardson, 78, of LaGrange, Georgia, went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, Oct. 6, 2021.

Sharon was born June 27, 1943, in Salisbury, North Carolina to the late Reid Turner Williams and Dorothy Hall Williams.

She is survived by her husband of 60 years, Clarence Dennis Richardson; children, Ricky (Caroline) Richardson and Beth (Jimmy) Doerr; a niece who was considered another daughter, Jennifer (William) Bagwell; grandchildren, Abby Doerr, Sara Kate Doerr, Lizzie Doerr, Reid Doerr, Cece McCrary, James Richardson and John (Brennan) Richardson, Emmaline Bagwell, Will Bagwell and her great grandchild Miles; sibling, Sheila Nix; nephews, Reid (Leighanne) Fallyer and Zach Nix; special friends, Nita Overall and her Bridge Club.

She was preceded in death by her sisters Jayne Henry and Jean Michely. Sharon enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. She loved to decorate her home, growing flowers and celebrating the holidays and special occasions.

She was a member of First United Methodist Church of LaGrange and was a graduate of York High School in South Carolina with a host of friends she has continued to love and stay in contact with through the years.

A private Memorial Service will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 9, 2021 in the Chapel of First United Methodist Church of LaGrange.
