Apostle Anvert Latimer, 83, born Jan. 4, 1938, of 13 Highland Park Drive, Newnan, Georgia died Tuesday, Oct. 12, 2021, at his home.

He was born in Dawson, Georgia, to the late Terry and Laura Iverson Latimer. 

Apostle Latimer loved the Lord and developed several churches in the surrounding area.   He was the Apostle for the Deliverance Revival  Center. 

Survivors include his loving and devoted wife, Mrs. Marion Elder Latimer, six sons, William, Aundrey, Melvin, Tavaren and Christopher Latimer and Larry Wimbush; three daughters, Mrs. Cynthia Knight, Mrs. Laquinta Amey and Rashoun Latimer; a brother, George Latimer: 24 grandchildren; 28 great grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren. Graveside services for Apostle Anvert Latimer will be held on Saturday, Oct.16, 2021, at noon at Eastview Cemetery, Milton Ave., Newnan, Georgia, 30263.
