Willie Clyde Caudle, 101, of LaGrange, was reunited with her husband, Henry, on Oct. 26, 2021. She was born on March 11, 1920 in Heard County, Georgia to the late L.B. and Mary Mobley.

Clyde graduated from Center High in 1938. She married the love of her life, Henry Caudle, on July 11, 1940. She furthered her education by graduating from teacher’s college at Akron University in 1948, and West Georgia University in 1960. She retired after teaching first grade for many years. Clyde’s favorite pastimes were reading, oil and watercolor painting, traveling, and spending time with her family. She was affectionately known as “Granny” by her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

She leaves to cherish her memory, daughters, Cathy Dingler of LaGrange, Georgia; and Kay Alumbaugh (Jerry) of Anderson, Indiana; grandchildren, Troy (Jennifer) Martin of Pine Mountain, Georgia and Tod (Becky) Dingler of Midway, Georgia; great-grandchildren, Holly (Jacob Nave) Martin, Boots Martin, and Katt Martin, all of Pine Mountain; Bonus grandchildren, Amanda (Brian) Brown, Lisa (Tim) Johnson, and Jim (Wendy) Alumbaugh, all of Indiana; Bonus great-grandchildren, Victoria Brown, Alexa Johnson, Dakotah Alumbaugh, Lydia Johnson, and Landon Alumbaugh, all of Indiana.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Henry on Feb. 20, 2004 and her sister, Marie Humphrey.
