A LaGrange woman was arrested Thursday night after allegedly stabbing her boyfriend, according to a press release from the LaGrange Police Department.

The woman, Vera Ford, 50, was charged with aggravated assault.

Officers with the LPD responded to 407 East Bacon Street around 8:10 p.m. in reference to a person who had been stabbed. Upon arrival, officers made contact with the victim, a 42-year-old male, whom they observed to be suffering from a laceration to the side of his head.

The victim advised that he had been stabbed by his girlfriend, Ford. Ford was not on probation or bond at the time of this offense.
