Mr. Michael Dwane Casteel was born Jan. 13, 1961, in Cleveland, Tennessee to Dwane and Betty Casteel.

He was a member of the Church of Christ.

Michael was employed by Trinidad Benham Corporation in LaGrange, Georgia.

He was a loyal Tennessee Volunteer fan.

Michael loved his family, and was loved by his family and friends.

On Thursday, Nov. 11, 2021, our beloved Michael passed away at his home in LaGrange, Georgia; surrounded by his family.

He was preceded in death by his daughter, Chancey McDaniel; grandparents, John and Eva Gibbeney and Hayse and Isabel Casteel.

He is survived by his wife, Elizabeth Casteel; parents, Dwane and Betty Casteel; children:  Mario (Jennifer) McDaniel, Lena McDaniel, grandchildren, one great-granddaughter, sister, Myra Casteel, Charles Town, WV; brother, Douglas (Jessica) Casteel, West Point, Georgia; sister-in-law, Viola Nellon and special sister-in-law, Gloria Watson, both of LaGrange, Georgia; and a host of nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, extended family, cousins, and friends.

The family will receive friends on Sunday from 2-3 p.m., the Service will be Sunday at 3 p.m. in the Chapel of Lakes-Dunson-Robertson Funeral Home. The excellent care of Mr. Casteel is being provided by Lakes-Dunson-Robertson Funeral Home.
