Ms. Sharanda Smith passed away Friday.

She was born July 18, 1984, to the late Cathy Godfrey and Isaac Smith in LaGrange, Georgia.

She united with Old Mount Olive Baptist Church, attended LaGrange High School and graduated from Dawson Christian Academy. She was previously employed by Carter’s, ITW, Mountville Mills, and SAFA.

Survivors include her three brothers:  Deronich Grissom, Demetruis Godfrey, and Calvin Hurston; grandmother, Lizzie Mae Grissom; nephew, Uriah Gilbert; uncles:  Roy (Catherine) Ross, Milton Ross, Sr., Jesse (Margert) Grissom, Ricky Grissom, Ronnie Grissom; aunts:  Ernestine (Guy) Poythress, Sandra (Alfred) Brewer, Cindy (Jerome) Fields, Trudee (Dexter) Roberts, Wanda (Jonah) Williams; step-dad, Deronich (Elaine) Godfrey; devoted friend, Antonio Hill and his daughter, Tyveannia Hill; and an array of cousins and friends.

The family will receive friends on Friday from 4-7 p.m.

The Service will be Saturday at 1 p.m.  Both services will be in the Chapel of Lakes-Dunson-Robertson Funeral Home.
