Mrs. Margaret Marie Hayes Pickett passed away Saturday. She was born March 21, 1943, to the late George Hayes, Sr. and Lizzie Mae McCauley Hayes in LaGrange, Georgia.

She was a member of Ward’s Chapel, and was previously employed by West Georgia Medical Center, MedCraft Nursing Home and Town and Country Motel.

Survivors include two sons:  Richard L. Hayes and Tony C. “Wig” Pickett, both of LaGrange, Georgia; two granddaughters; three great-grandchildren; sister, Levolia Hayes Laye, LaGrange, Georgia; two brothers:  Leroy (Elsie) Hayes and Ernest Hayes; nieces, nephews, and a host of great-nieces and nephews; and special friends.

The Service will be Friday at 2 p.m. in the Chapel of Lakes-Dunson-Robertson Funeral Home.
