Mrs. Janice Lavonia Davenport passed away Thursday.

She was born April 24 to Milton Redding, Sr. and Eddie Jean Redding in Atlanta, Georgia.

She united with Williams Grove Church of Deliverance, graduated from Georgia High School, and was previously employed by the Troup County School System.

Survivors include her husband, William Davenport; two daughters:  Kellee Davenport and Amberia Davenport; three loving grandchildren; sister, Bettie Dowell and brother, Milton Redding, Jr.; sister-in-law, Cora Mae McClain; two brothers-in-law:  William Davenport and Rena Dowell; and a host of devoted nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

The family will receive friends at Lakes-Dunson-Robertson Funeral Home on Friday from 5-7 p.m. The service will be Saturday at 1 p.m. at Meadowy Gardens Cemetery.
