Mr. Jerry Jerome Godwin passed away Thursday.

He was born Aug. 4, 1954, to the late R. L. Godwin and Alberta Phillips Godwin in LaGrange, Georgia.

He graduated from Miami Northern Senior High School, Class of 1973, and was employed by Southern Bell.

Survivors include his daughters:  LaShaune Godwin, Chicago, Illinois; Adrienne Godwin and Diondra Godwin, both of Miami, Florida; eight grandchildren:  two great-grandchildren; two sisters:  Shirley Kay Culpepper and Angelia Godwin, both of LaGrange, Georgia; aunts:  Yvonne Phillips-Hixson, Mildred Greir, Ferris Birdy, all of LaGrange, Georgia; uncle, Horace Godwin, Atlanta, Georgia; and a host of relatives and friends.

The family will receive friends on Friday from 5-7 p.m.

The service will Saturday at 3 p.m. Both services will take place at Lakes-Dunson-Robertson Funeral Home.
