HOGANSVILLE – The City of Hogansville plans to reopen its City Hall lobby later this week after closing it last week due to COVID-19 concerns.

“Right now, our plan is to reopen the lobby and rest [of the building] on Wednesday,” Hogansville City Manager Jonathan Lynn said Monday.

Lynn reported last week that approximately 10% of the city’s workforce had COVID positive cases. He could not provide an updated number on city employee COVID cases.

The City of Hogansville does not have a mask mandate among staff members and does not require any sort of vaccination status for employees, Lynn said.

The drive-thru will continue to be open on reduced hours from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Credit card fees will not be charged for utility payments during this time, and payments can be made on at www.cityofhogansville.org or by calling (855) 907-3377. Utility payments can also be dropped in the after-hours drop box located on the side of City Hall just past the drive through.

A constant contact with information will be sent out as well. Hogansville residents can sign up for this by texting HOGANSVILLE to 22828.

Citizens are advised that minor construction is ongoing at City Hall. The building’s floors are being removed due to piping issue and half the building is essentially removed from operation until then, Lynn said.
