Man arrested in methamphetamine sale investigation

A LaGrange man was recently arrested as the main suspect in a meth-distribution investigation, per a press release from the LaGrange Police Department.
During the early parts of January 2022, members of the LaGrange Police Departments Special Investigations Unit began receiving information that Dustin Wayne Beatenbaugh, 31, was distributing methamphetamine within the city limits of LaGrange.
During the subsequent investigation, investigators were able to confirm that Beatenbaugh was allegedly actively distributing various amounts of methamphetamine to individuals within the city.
Through the two-month investigation, a search warrant was obtained for Beatenbaugh’s apartment, as well as the vehicle that he had been driving. On Friday, Feb. 18, 2022, these search warrants were executed by members of the LaGrange Police Departments Special Investigation Unit, Criminal Investigation Division, and Patrol Division.
Beatenbaugh was charged with possession of a distribution amount of methamphetamine as well as items that facilitate the sale or distribution of methamphetamine.
Beatenbaugh was on felony probation for burglary at the time of the incident, per the release.
