On Saturday, our annual Progress edition will publish. Every year, our staff works very hard to put together this special section, which is always themed around an issue impacting our area. Last year, we focused on recovery from COVID-19. It felt appropriate after such a tough 2020.

This year we went a different route entirely, instead asking 22 questions for 2022. The point is to answer some of the community’s biggest pressing issues. We wrote about everything from government to education to healthcare and more.

We’re sure there were some other topics we could’ve tackled (we’d love to hear them!), but we believe this is edition provides a comprehensive view of how things are going in our county.

Our staff has worked on this edition for months, trying to pull it all together. We really hope you enjoy it.
