Man killed in wreck on Callaway Church Road

A man was killed in a single-vehicle collision Saturday morning just before 1 a.m., according to a press release from the LaGrange Police Department.
Bobby Ferrell Jr. was killed when traveling north on Callaway Church Road at a high rate of speed, according to LPD. The vehicle he was driving left the roadway edge on the north side, and he then overcorrected and lost control of the vehicle, which rotated across the northbound lanes and struck a tree in the median. It then flipped across the southbound lanes, where the driver was ejected.
Alcohol and a smell of marijuana was detected during the investigation, according to LPD.
