A juvenile has been hospitalized after being shot on Houston Street Friday, per a press release from the LaGrange Police Department.

Officers with the LPD responded to Wellstar West Georgia Medical Center in reference to a juvenile arriving at the location suffering from a gunshot injury late Friday. Upon arrival, the victim advised that he had been walking in the Houston Street area when he had been shot.

At this time this case is under investigation with the Criminal Investigations Section.
