The Cavaliers baseball team made it three wins in a row after a big 4-0 win over Vidalia on Friday.

Bryce Hubbard put together a dominant showing on the mound–striking out five in seven innings and only allowing six hits.

The Cavaliers only got three hits on the night but had 10 base runners from walks and players hit by pitches.

Tucker Starling got the Cavaliers on the board with a triple in the first inning when he hit a line drive to center field to score Jacob Karveles. The Cavaliers could not capitalize on having three runners on with one out in the inning.

Hubbard helped his cause when he got a ground out in the second inning to score Andrew Locke.

Callaway added two more runs in the third inning. Blake Sheppard drove in a run on a fielder’s choice and Justin Moore scored on an error later in the inning.

The Cavaliers were not able to add any more runs over the final four innings, but Hubbard kept the Indian bats at bay to keep the 4-0 score intact.

The Cavaliers are now 4-2 overall on the season and have not yet started region play. Their next game is against Jeff Davis High School on Saturday.
