Annie Joyce Furgerson, age 82, of LaGrange, Georgia, passed away on Thursday, March 3rd, 2022. She was born on October 1st, 1939 to Charles “Charlie” Wade and Myrtice Freeman Wade in Randolph County, Alabama. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her spouse, Jimmy Furgerson; siblings, Dorothy Brown, Horace Wade, Pauline Wade, Linda Brewster, Gary Wade;

Survivors include her children, Theresa Harper (Albert, Jr), Angela Kirby (Ron), Connie Pike (Tip), Lisa Montgomery (Randy); grandchildren, Heather Thompkins (Michael), Michael Harper, Charlie Harper, Brian Kirby (Jordona), Kim Bragg (Travis), Terry Pike, Jr., Brandi Turner (Brad), Jackson Montgomery, Mara Montgomery; eight great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews; extended family and friends.

The family will have visitation on Monday, March 7, 2022 at the Higgins Funeral Home at Hunter Allen Myhand from 2:00 – 3:00 PM. Funeral services will begin at 3:00 PM at the funeral home with the interment to follow at Shadowlawn Cemetery. Higgins Funeral Home at Hunter Allen Myhand, 706-884-5626.
