The Atlanta Braves will be bringing the World Series trophy to LaGrange on Aug. 6.

The city of LaGrange announced on its social media pages Thursday that the Braves will include LaGrange on their 151-stop trophy tour — one stop for every year of Braves baseball.

The tour began on Feb. 15.

The trophy tour will be at Sweetland Amphitheater on Aug. 6 in LaGrange, according to the city of LaGrange.

More information will be posted at a later date.

“We felt the tremendous support of Braves Country throughout the season and particularly in the postseason, and we are taking this championship on the road to fans across the Southeast so that they can share in the joy and celebration of this historic victory,” said Derek Schiller, President & CEO of the Atlanta Braves when the tour was announced.

The Braves won their first World Series title since 1995 by beating the Houston Astros in October.
