Mr. Ronald Eugene “Ronnie” Prickett, age 67, of LaGrange, passed away on Monday, March 14, 2022 at the WellStar West Georgia Medical Center in LaGrange.

He was born on January 28, 1955 in LaGrange, Georgia to the late Gene Prickett and Joyce Thompson Prickett.  Ronnie graduated from Troup High School, class of 1973.  After high school, he joined the United States Air Force, where he worked in Minuteman Missiles at Whiteman Air Force Base in Knob Noster, Missouri.

After his service to his country, he and his father formed Prickett Remodeling.  Ronnie continued in the construction business as Prickett and Son Construction, which his family continues to operate today.  He and his wife, Kaye Grant Prickett, celebrated 49 years of marriage in December.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Rodney Jerome Prickett.

Survivors include his wife, Kaye Grant Prickett; son, Rodney Eugene Prickett (Kelly); daughter, Christy Prickett Holloway (Eric); sister, Wanda Folds (Travis); grandchildren, Tyler Holloway, Dawson Holloway, Jake Holloway, Brody Holloway, Zane Prickett and Ava Prickett; great-grandchild, Georgia Holloway; extended family and friends.  Funeral services will be held on Thursday, March 17, 2022 at 2:00 pm at the Higgins Funeral Home at Hunter Allen Myhand Chapel with Pastor Brad Thompson officiating.  Interment will follow at Meadoway Gardens.  Family will receive friends on Thursday from 12:00-2:00 pm at the funeral home.  Higgins Funeral Home at Hunter Allen Myhand, 706-884-5626.
