Weekend Ticket: Plenty to do in LaGrange this St. Patrick’s Day weekend

There are plenty of fun festivities to take part in LaGrange this weekend. From crafts to concerts, there is something for everyone.

You won’t want to miss the St. Patrick’s Main Street Block Party on Saturday from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m.

World Champion Drake Irish Dancers will kick off the festivities at 4 p.m. and will be followed by The Raising Sand Band. Admission to the event is free, however, tables for eight can be reserved for $30 by calling the Downtown LaGrange Development Authority at (706) 298-4534.

Crafternoon for Kids at the Hogansville Public Library is on Friday from 4 p.m. to 5 p.m.

This event will feature milk carton birdhouses. This program is free and available to all children with no registration required. Materials will be provided.

Singer-songwriter Randall Bramblett is performing at Pure Life Studios this Saturday from 7:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. BBQ will also be sold at the event. Tickets start at $22.50 and can be purchased online at https://www.purelifelagrange.com/tickets-1.

Join Wild Leap on Saturday from noon to 4 p.m. as they celebrate St. Patrick’s Day with live music, Irish Dancers, face painting and much more.

The event will also feature several exclusive one-day-only small batch beers and craft cocktails. Admission is free and is open to all ages.

The Choral Society of West Georgia is hosting a Spring concert “Sing, Sing, Sing!” this Sunday featuring selections from some of its most popular concerts.  Tickets for the show can be purchased with cash at Plum Southern or from any CSWG member.

The Blue Knights Georgia XVIII will sponsor the third annual Benefit Ride for CASA of Troup County on Saturday at the LaGrange Elks Lodge, 905 S. Davis Road from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m.

Participants can register the of day the event. Registration is $20 a ride and $5 a passenger.

Lunch will be available and vendors will be on-site with local arts and crafts.

KIA Georgia will once again host its Spring Fever Goblin Rally at Long Cane Middle School this Saturday from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Teams will compete in the Drag, Slalom and Circuit Race Sessions.
