Grangers girls rout Kendrick to secure first round home game in the state playoffs

The LaGrange girls soccer team dominated Kendrick 9-0 en route to securing a first round home playoff game on Monday.

Sam Cottle was the woman of the match with a hat trick of goals and a hat trick of assists. Karley Perry also had a big night with three goals and an assist.

Carlee Roland, Tatum Fritchley, and Adry Matias each grabbed a goal apiece to round out the scoring for the Grangers.

Olivia Sato, Tyra Potts, Roland and Fritchley all contributed an assist each.

Eight of the nine goals were the result of an assist as it was a team effort for the Grangers on the night.

The Granger improved to 8-9 overall and stayed a perfect 7-0 in region play. The Grangers next game is for the region championship as they travel to take on Columbus on Wednesday.
