The Callaway boys soccer team won in dramatic fashion over Galloway 2-1 on Wednesday.

Jostin Raymundo scored with just 48 seconds on the clock to give the Cavaliers a win to tie the boys school record for most wins in a season. The Cavaliers still have three games left and will likely break that record soon enough.

Raymundo also had the first goal on the night for the Cavaliers as he scored in the 35th minute.

The Cavaliers took a 1-0 lead into the break, but Galloway struck back in the second half to tie the game at 1-1.

Nitler Recinos was immaculate in goal as he contributed eight saves on the night.

It was a back-and-forth affair with the Cavaliers able to grab their third win in a row and propel themselves into their last three regular season games.

Callaway is now 12-2-1 overall and 3-2 in region play. The Cavaliers will play their last region game of the season against Haralson County when they return from spring break on April 5.
