Phillip Hutson Camp, 71, of LaGrange, Georgia, went to be with the Lord on Friday, March 18, 2022.

Phillip was born June 11, 1950, in LaGrange, Georgia, to the late Zeddie Russell Camp and Offie Irma Yarbrough Camp.

He is survived by his daughter, Alison Kapaona; granddaughter, Maile (Braxton) Smith; sisters, Grace (James) Kelly of LaGrange, Georgia, Lanell Matulewicz of Easton, Pennsylvania and Patricia (Robert) Longshore of Hogansville, Georgia.

Phillip, a life-long resident of LaGrange, was the owner and operator of Troup Finance and Motormax as well as Camp Auto Sales.

A Memorial Service will be held 6  p.m. Saturday, March 26, 2022, in the Chapel of Striffler-Hamby Mortuary. The gathering of family and friends will be held prior to the service from 5 to 6 p.m.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in his honor to the American Cancer Society and the American Heart Association.
