Wellstar Pediatrics will open a school-based health clinic at Callaway Elementary School.

The LaGrange-Troup County Chamber of Commerce will hold a special ribbon cutting to unveil the SBHC on Tuesday, May 3.

The clinic will be available to serve any student at Callaway Elementary School, with parent consent. The clinic will be staff by an advanced nurse practitioner.

The SBHC is a partnership with Wellstar and the Troup County School System, as well as other community organizations:

• Troup Family Connection Authority
• United Way of West Georgia
• Callaway Foundation
• Emory School of Medicine-Partners for Equity and Health for Children and Adolescents
