Mr. Anthony Carnell Flowers passed away Saturday.

He was born Oct. 19, 1956, to the late Tom and Elizabeth Flowers in LaGrange, Georgia.

He united with Old Mount Olive Baptist Church, and received his education at LaGrange High School and Truett McConnell University.

Carnell was a firefighter and was previously employed by  the LaGrange Fire Department and Atlanta Fire Department. For over 15 years, Carnell has been employed with LaCosta Facility Support Services in LaGrange, Georgia.

Survivors include his daughter, Cicely “CeCe” Williams, Tulsa, Oklahoma; siblings:  Jan Avant, LaGrange, Georgia; Tommie (Ozzie) Braham, Silver Springs, Maryland; Lewis (Cynthia) Flowers, Fayetteville, Georgia; Diane Flowers, Atlanta, Georgia; Horace (Patricia) Flowers, LaGrange, Georgia; one aunt, two uncles, a loving group of nieces and nephews; a very special friends and cousins.

The Service will be Wednesday at 2 p.m. in the Chapel of Lakes-Dunson-Robertson Funeral Home.
