There are two fatalities in a “serious” vehicle accident on Roanoke Road, according to Troup County Coroner Erin Hackley.

The Troup County Sheriff’s Office posted Saturday night that emergency personnel was investigating a serious traffic accident at Roanoke Road and Paddle Wheel Drive. Traffic on Roanoke Road was being diverted down Vernon Ferry Road.
