1945 – 2022

Mr. Ronald Paul Humphries, 76, passed away on May 26, 2022. Mr. Humphries was born on Nov. 27, 1945, in Ft. Walton Beach, Florida to the late Paul A. Humphries and Tina Oakes Humphries-Collier.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Mike Humphries and a step-father, Joe Collier. Mr. Humphries was a Self-Employed Contractor and a faithful member of the First Baptist Church on the Square in LaGrange.

Survivors include his wife, Linda Knight Humphries; sons, Ronald DeWayne Humphries and his wife Michelle and Robert D. Humphries; daughter, Alyssa Long and her husband Jeff; sister, Sherril Brandon and her husband Lindall; brother, Bobby Collier and his wife Leigh; grandchildren, Warren Roberts, Morgan Witt (Josh), Chandler Humphries (Aysea) and Carington Humphries; great grandchildren, Hayden and Sophia; nieces, nephews and extended family.

Funeral services will be held on Sunday, May 29, 2022, at 3 p.m. at the First Baptist Church on the Square in LaGrange. Entombment will follow at the Shadowlawn Cemetery Mausoleum. Family will have a time of visitation on Saturday from 3 p.m. to 4 p.m. at the Higgins Funeral Home at Hunter Allen Myhand.
