Drew Garner hosts wrestling camp at Troup High School

Earlier this week, Drew Garner, the Troup High School wrestling coach, hosted a three day wrestling marathon as dozens of kids piled into the wrestling room at Troup High.
From Monday to Wednesday, kids from elementary age up to high school were given a crash course on new techniques as well as sharpening the skills they already have. Garner was not the only coach on hand to help train the young wrestlers, coaches came from far and wide to help Garner coach. Joey Knox, the head wrestling coach at Cleveland High School, came all the way from Tennessee to help coach the camp.
The co-ed camp saw wrestlers from all over the county come out with various skill levels on display. It was a strenuous three days but a rewarding one for those that decided to participate in Garner’s camp.
