Graveside services for Eveleen Savannah Farr, 91, of LaGrange, Georgia, will be held at 3 p.m. CDST on Sunday, July 17, 2022, at Wehadkee Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. Stanley Yarbrough officiating and Quattlebaum Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 2 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. CDST on Sunday, July 17, 2022.

Mrs. Farr passed away on Thursday, July 14, 2022, at Florence Hand Home in LaGrange.

Survivors include her children, Donna Farr Truitt (Wayne) of Ft. Mitchell, Alabama, Ronald Lewis Farr (Cheryl) of Canton, Georgia, Rita Farr Boyd (Jimmy) of LaGrange, Georgia, and Thomas K. Farr of LaGrange, Georgia; 11 grandchildren, Tina Faught (Max), Chris Hattaway, Emilie Lobec (Chip), Brian Farr (Bonnie), Lori Rhoney, Amy Gore (Robby), David Boyd, Maryalyssa Farr, Gabe Farr and Will Farr; 14 great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren; sister, Iona Smith Rogers of Hogansville, Georgia; special care-giver, Mary Reese, and a host of nieces and nephews.

A native of Woodland, Alabama, Mrs. Farr was born May 31, 1931, the daughter of Kaylor and Katie Brown Smith.

She was employed by Milliken for 20 years and Ms. Pat’s Christian Learning Center in the “Baby Room” known lovingly as “MawMaw.” She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Kline Lewis Farr; son, Gregory Eugene Farr; grandchild, Marissa Farr; and siblings, Allen Smith, Wallace Smith, Hollis Smith, Betherine Smith, Reba Brumbeloe and Grace Norton.

Memorials may be floral or the family requests donations to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, Tennessee, 38105.
