Next Friday school starts back for the Troup County School System, meaning thousands of students will be heading for bus stops all around the county.

It means school zones will again be active, with parents trying to get students to school and teachers trying to get to work. And it means drivers once again need to exercise patience.

It’s easy, after an entire summer, to get out of the groove of slowing down in school zones. They’ve been a lot more vacant over the last 90 days or so.
