Mr. Larry Whitehead passed away Thursday.

He was born August 17, 1952 to the late Virgil and Marie Whitehead in LaGrange, Georgia.

He graduated Class of 1971, LaGrange High School, and was previously employed by Williams Brother Concrete.

He is survived by his wife, Mary Jo Dawson; his children:  LaShanta Whitehead, Larry Whitehead, Jr., Avius (George) Boone, Tony Hardy, and Elizabeth (Brice) Google; one stepson, Terrano Dawson; twelve grandchildren; two great grandchildren; one sister, Julia (Eddie) Reeves; and a host of nieces and nephews.

The service will be Thursday at 1 p.m. at Warren Temple.

The excellent care of Mr. Whitehead is being provided by Lakes-Dunson-Robertson Funeral Home.
