LaFayette Christian School’s volleyball tipped off their season with a victory over crosstown rivals LaGrange Academy on Wednesday. It was the first game of the season for the Cougars as they got their season off to a good start. 

The Cougars won in five sets as the match proved to be an extremely tight affair. The final score in the five sets ended up being 25-23, 25-15, 26-28, 26-24 and 15-13.

Mary Halen Bryant had six kills, Graycen Daniel had six kills with five aces, Paisley Jackson had four kills, and Kylie Belle Lasher had four kills with nine digs and 10 aces. 

LCS improves to 1-0 on the season and will be back in action at home against Heirway on Thursday.
