Harvey “Pete” Hill Chambers, Jr., passed away on Aug. 29, 2022.

He was born on April 12, 1943, to Harvey Hill Chambers, Sr. and Kathryn Mobley Chambers in Atlanta, Georgia. 

Mr. Chambers proudly served in the United States Army serving in the War in Vietnam. 

He went to Hapeville High School and then continued his education at Young Harris College and finished at the University of Georgia. 

Mr. Chambers was a “rabid” Georgia Bulldog Football fan passion for gardening and loved the lake, beach, and golf but most of all he loved spending time with his grandchildren and family.

Survivors include his wife of 53 years, Paula Small Chambers; son, Patrick Chambers (Tanya); daughter, Paige Bradfield (James A.); sister, Kathy Allgood (Danny); grandchildren, J.P. Chambers, Reagan Chambers, Jay Bradfield, Hayden Bradfield; nieces and nephews; extended family and friends.

The memorial service will be held at St. Mark’s Episcopal Church on Friday, Sept. 2, 2022 at 3 P.M. 

The family will receive friends immediately following the service at St. Mark’s Parish Hall. 

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in memory of Pete Chambers to the American Cancer Society.
