Timothy M. (Tim) Ellen, from the Central Georgia General Office of New York Life, has been listed on the 2022 Forbes Top Financial Security Professionals Best-in-State list, according to a press release from New York Life. The individuals named to this list of distinguished professionals were chosen based on many criteria considered by an independent research firm.

A New York Life agent for 33 years,  Ellen received this recognition for helping his clients in a world in which wealth preservation and protection matter more than ever.

“We are honored that Tim’s name appears on this prestigious list,” said Richard C. Willis, managing partner of the Central Georgia General Office. “New York Life has known for quite sometime what a valuable asset Tim has been to our family and to many families and businesses in our community.”

Ellen is a Fellow of the Life Underwriters Training Council.  A Lifetime Council Member with New York Life, he recently qualified for his 33rd consecutive Council. He is a past president of the company’s Agents Advisory Council, and a former member of New York Life’s Community Impact Grants Committee as well as the company’s Political Involvement Leaders (PIL) team.  He received a BA degree from Auburn University, where he currently serves on the alumni association’s board of directors.  He and his wife, Lisa, reside in LaGrange.
