Mr. Jeffrey Allen Lewis, 61, of LaGrange, passed away on Sept. 1, 2022.    

Mr. Lewis was born in Decatur, Georgia to the late Buddy Lewis and Annette Austin Lewis. 

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a daughter, Jessica Mitchell, a son, Matthew Benefield and brother, Michael Lewis. 

Survivors include his wife, Shirley Bagley Lewis; children, Jessica Melson (Michael), Kimberly King, Jennifer McKinney (Marcus), Jillian Pierce (Keith) and Richard Benefield (Lisa); brother, Scott Lewis (Pamela); sister, Robin Dishner (Charlie); sister-in-law, Merilyn Lewis; grandchildren, Makaila Trowell, Kassidi Bagley, Allyssia Bagley, Madeline Allen, Kallie Bagley, Jack Rigell, Davey Rigell, Taylor Mitchell, Tristan Benefield, Jaxon King, Kaleah Benefield; extended family and friends.  

A celebration of life service will be announced.
