One of God’s rarest and most unique souls, James Robert (Batman) Carpenter, Jr., born Jan. 10, 1958, departed this life on Friday, Sept. 23, 2022, while riding his Harley on Broad Street in LaGrange, Georgia.

Batman was preceded by his son, James Robert Carpenter III; his sister, Vicki Holiday; his brothers: Larry (Angel) Jackson, Michael (B) Bombe Sr., Dave (Little Bear) Alexander, Michael (Shadow) Lucas, and Jeffrey Carpenter; lastly, his mother Verna Carpenter.

Batman leaves behind his daughter, Tonya Fincher; his son, Charles (Chunk) Powell ; his son-in-law, Brian Fincher; his life-partner, Lorna Carpenter; his brothers: Patrick (Rat) Bowman; and Gerald Kent Jr.; his sister, Vicki Dixon; his adopted daughters: Sheli Galloway and Jamaica Farrar Jackson; and many adopted nieces, nephews, and grandchildren.

He also leaves behind many brethren of the Crossmen motorcycle club and many sisters that loved him like crazy, just like him.

Batman lived his life by this motto: “Your wealth is not measured by how much you have, but by how much you give.”

His advice to the world was, “I don’t care who you think you are, don’t piss off a bear.” He will be missed dearly by so many people. GBNF.
