The second game of the super regional did not quite go to plan for Callaway, which fell to hosts Union County 12-2. 

The Cavaliers had a chance to take a lead in the top of the first inning when they got runners on second and third but left them stranded. It was a huge missed opportunity for Callaway as the Panthers scored a run in the bottom of the first inning to take the lead before extending it with another four runs in the second inning.

It looked like the Cavaliers might get back into the game in the third inning. Ava Shuford hit a triple to drive in Emma Bryan before Karlie Walker hit an RBI double. Once again the Cavaliers left a runner in scoring position as they could only cut the Panther lead to 5-2. These three players were the rock for the Cavaliers offense as they combined for all seven hits in the game. Bryan was 1-for-3 with a run scored. Shuford was 2-for-2 with a run scored and an RBI. It was Walker who really showed her stuff by going 3-for-3 with an RBI against the no. 1 seed in the super regional.  

After starting the opening game, Mackenzie Toney got the start on the mound once again in game two. She was not quite as effective as she was in game one but was also let down by her defense who committed three costly errors. 

Callaway will have a chance to make the finals if the Cavaliers can beat Murray County at 3 p.m. on Wednesday.
