In the LaGrange City Council District 2 race, Leon Childs and Quay Boddie will be heading to a run-off.

Childs and Boddie were the top two in a five person race, but neither candidate cleared the 50% threshold to win outright.

Childs received 897 votes, or 34% of the vote, and Boddie received 538 votes, or 21%, of the vote. Ashley Cousin was third with 454 votes, with 17.43%, and Maiya Dowell had 425 votes or 16.3% of the vote. Israel Barsh had 290 votes or 11% of the vote.
