Incumbent Republican Drew Ferguson won in the race for the District 3 seat in the House of Representatives against Democrat challenger Val Almonord. 

In Troup County, Ferguson received 15,038 votes, or 65.37% of the vote, while Almonord only received 7965 votes, or 34.63% of the vote. 

At press time, Ferguson has received 205,343 votes, or 68.92% of the vote district wide, while Almonord had received 92,587 votes, or 31.08% of the vote district wide. 

Ferguson has served as the District 3 House Representative since 2017. This upcoming term will be his 4th term in the office.
