LaGrange boys win big over Heard County

LaGrange used a balance attack to pick apart Heard County for a 68-38 win on the road Tuesday night. 

The Grangers took a 20-13 after a back-and-forth first quarter before absolutely dominating the second quarter and took a 40-18 lead into the halftime break. 

LaGrange never let up on the Braves, outscoring them 28-20 in the second half despite deploying players from further down on the bench.

The Grangers had 13 different players score in the game. Garrett Jacobsen led the way for the Grangers by scoring a team high 12 points. Eight of them came in the second quarter when he dominated down low.

JJ Jordan was the other Granger in double figures for the game, scoring 11 and offered another strong post presence for LaGrange. Devin Dowell chipped in eight points and Jaylen Young scored seven to help spark the offense. 

LJ Green scored a game high 14 points to lead the Braves offense. 

The Grangers will be back in the court Friday away to Central.
