Mr. Marvin Laye, (64), passed away Saturday.
He was born on April 4, 1958 to the late Douglas Laye, Jr. and Mrs. Levolia Hayes Laye in LaGrange, Georgia.
He was a graduate of Bogg Academy in Keysville, Georgia, attended Albany State College in Albany, Georgia; was a graduate of West GA Technical and served in the US Army.
He was previously employed by Milliken’s Live Oak.
Survivors include his wife, Cassandra Crawl Laye; his children: Rashad Laye of Albany, Georgia; Biancia Laye of Brookhaven, Georgia; bonus children: Ashney (Jonathan) Simmons of Henderson, Nevada; Audrey Heard of LaGrange, Georgia; Alesha (Rodriquez) Jones of Demopolis, Alabama; 11 grandchildren; . His mother Mrs. Levolia Hayes Laye; his four sisters: Janice (Robert) Mata of East Point, Georgia; Ladye Ann Hutchinson of LaGrange, Georgia; Rena Laye (Kamara) of Forest Park, Georgia; LaFaye Laye of East Point, Georgia; One brother: Terry Laye of Atlanta, Georgia; and a host of cousins, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
The Service will be Fri. at 11 A.M. in the Chapel of Lakes-Dunson-Robertson Funeral Home.
The excellent care of Mr. Laye is being provided by Lakes-Dunson-Robertson Funeral Home.
