LCS boys basketball routes LaGrange Academy on Friday night

The Lafayette Christian boys basketball team kept the momentum rolling on Friday as the Cougars rolled over their rivals LaGrange Academy 71-32.

The Warriors has nonanswer for the inside out duo of Adam Saylor and Bruno Tellez. Saylor scored 18 points, but it was first year Cougar Tellex that once again lit up the scoreboard with a game high 19 points and three 3-pointers. 

The Cougars put the gauntlet down early and took a 20-7 lead after the first quarter and just kept pouring it on.

Sam Anderson led the Warriors with 10 points while Jackson Malone was second with eight points. 

The Warriors fall to 1-2 on the season. LaGrange Academy will be back on the court on Tuesday away to Harvester Christian.

Lafayette Christian improved to 4-0 on the season. The Cougars played again on Tuesday night before hosting Heirway on Thursday.
