Mr. Johnny Ray Gates, Jr. passed away Friday.

He was born Sept. 7, 1972, in LaGrange, Georgia to Jennie Mae Gates and Johnny Ray Gates, Jr.

He united with Saint Paul Baptist Church, was educated at LaGrange High School, and employed by Mobis.

Survivors include his children: Afria Wilson, Ikaharia Wilson, Ahmaury Sessions, and Thynathan Gates; grandchildren; mother, Jennie M. Gates; sibling:  Marshell Gates, April Gates, Demetrius Gates, Crystal Gates, Minister Travis Hart, and Tyronica Harris; bonus daughter, Machavi Kelley; special aunt: Annie Mae Brown, and a host of family and friends.

The Service will be Sat. at 1:00 P.M. at Smyrna Baptist Church.

The excellent care of Mr. Gates is being provided by Lakes-Dunson-Robertson Funeral Home.
