William Michael “Mickey” Crawford, Sr, 74, died Dec. 6, 2022, and Linda Burch Crawford died Dec. 7, 2022, at their residence. 

A visitation will be held for them on Dec. 9, 2022, from 7 P.M. until 9 P.M. at Mathews Funeral Home. 

Graveside funeral services will be held Saturday at 1 P.M. at the family plot in Myrtle Hill Cemetery in Hogansville, Georgia.

Mickey was born on Feb. 10, 1948, in LaGrange, Georgia to Frank and Mildred Crawford.  

He grew up in Hogansville, Georgia and graduated from Hogansville High School.  

Mickey attended and graduated from Auburn University in 1971 before going to work at Texaco Oil Company in the Oil Distribution Business.

Linda was born on June 1, 1951, in Hogansville, Georgia to William and Elsie Burch and graduated from Hogansville High School and she and Mickey married in 1971.  They made their home in Birmingham, Alabama.

Mickey, Linda and their growing family moved from Birmingham, Alabama to Albany, Georgia in 1982 where, Mickey was a partner in Davis and Harp Oil Company which later would become, Crawford and Son Oil Company.  

Linda was employed with First State Bank, was a homemaker and raised their three sons. 

Linda and Mickey were members of Sherwood Baptist Church and Stonebridge Country Club. 

Mickey loved golf and college football, most of all Auburn Tiger Football and Linda enjoyed listening to music, spending time with Mickey and her sons.  

In addition to their parents, Linda was preceded in death by a brother, Steve Burch.

Survivors include their children, Bill Crawford of Oakfield, Georgia and Chase Crawford and Drew Crawford both of Albany, Georgia, additional family members include Linda’s brother, Larry (Judy) Burch of Thomaston, Georgia and two nieces and one nephew.
