Approximately 20 to 25 homes in the Lexington Park area received “heavy damage,” according to Deputy Chief Phillip Rice with the LaGrange Fire Department.

No one was injured, Rice said, calling it “real remarkable” after the damage in that area.

The LFD has cleared that area, Rice said. He said other homes also received damage as well, beyond those with heavy damage.
